Liability Insurance Coverage for CADS – NCD Registered Members
Registered members of the Canadian Adaptive Snowsports – National Capital Division receive membership in the Canadian Adaptive Snowsports (CADS).
CADS secures General Liability Insurance under a blanket policy provided through the Canadian Snowsports Association (CSA), which applies to all Members in Good Standing with both CADS – NCD and CADS.
The policy includes third party liability insurance that provides protection against potential legal actions against CADS instructors, volunteers, and students. This liability insurance coverage applies for registered participants and volunteers, including the Directors and Officers of CADS – NCD and of all recognized adaptive alpine skiing and snowboarding programs in the Division. It is important to understand this insurance is not personal accident insurance or property insurance.
A summary of the Canadian Snow Sports Association General Liability Insurance is provided for information only. If you require detailed information on this policy, please contact the CADS Managing Director, Mr. Christian Hrab at Christian@cads.ski He will do his best to respond quickly.
