Black Diamond Enrolment Criteria

The Black Diamond initiative will be open to:

• Participants and volunteers of all programs within CADS – NCD
• First come first serve (skiers, boarders, sit-skiers welcome) until camp cut-off dates (2 weeks prior to camp commencement)
• Participants and volunteers welcome (participants given priority until cutoff date has passed).
• Max. of 6:1 skier: coach ratio
• Must be an intermediate or better skier who is independent or actively working toward independent skiing (athletes with a visual impairment must have a guide)
• Must own their own equipment or actively working towards choosing and purchasing their own equipment
• Be recommended by their respective Program Coordinators

AOPRT/SQA Para Enrolment Criteria

The AOPRT/SQA Para initiative will be open to any competitive athlete within CADS – NCD programs.

Athletes must be:

• Accepted on either the Alpine Ontario Para Race Team (AOPRT) or Quebec Disabled Alpine Race Team (SQA Para)
• Willing to volunteer with a CADS – NCD program at least 2 times over the course of a season
• Recommended by their respective Program Coordinators

Para-Alpine Enrolment Criteria

The Para-Alpine will be open to any competitive athlete within CADS – NCD programs: Athletes must be:

• Accepted by Alpine Canada within the Canadian Para-Alpine Ski Team (CPAST) system
• Willing to volunteer with a CADS – NCD program at least 2 times over the course of a season
• Recommended by their respective Program Coordinators
